Response to Chapter 11

The two audio technologies I would use in my classroom are talking books (books on tape), which are a traditional technologies and MP3s which are emerging technologies.  Books on tape would be great to use in a classroom because (depending on the financial situation in the school) the students can follow along while the pre-recorded tape is reading the book.  MP3s are useful in the classroom because, like books on tape, they are pre-recorded lectures, songs, and books that can be used in the classroom to help teach a lesson.
The two visual technologies I would use in my classroom are bulletin boards, which are traditional technologies and live cameras, which are emerging technologies. I would use a bulletin board to put math facts that the students may need to refer to frequently such as formulas or multiplications facts.  I would use a live camera in my classroom during a science lesson.  For example we could watch a Zoo's live web camera as it monitors a new born baby panda.  The class could record differences they see daily.
